BLUE WATER BOSTON TERRIER CO-OWNER CONTRACT..

Blue Water Boston Terrier sometimes have a puppy we wish to Co-own . We only Co-Own our Boston Terriers to screened, pre-approved homes around the united states. The Co-Owner must have a fenced in back yard, be willing to love, play, and care for the puppy all times.

The Co -Owner must always be willing to work with us to have the dog available for breeding. We may even ask the Co-Owner to take the dog to the vet for tests. On a Co-Ownership, we retain all breeding rights on the dog through breeding unless otherwise. The boston will live Full-Time with the Co-Owner as their pet, except the last 30 days after breeding has taken place. The boston will be returned back to Blue Water Boston Terriers for breeding and motherhood purposes. We like to have our vet on call, so if we need to have a c-section. Blue Water Boston Terriers believe this is a good way for someone to have a quality Boston Terrier as a pet, also a way to keep Blue Water Boston Terriers breeding program going. And without the expense of buying one.

Co-Owner Rights and Responsibilities..

The Co-Owner will notify the breeder on the first signs of every heat the female has.

The Co-Owner will be responsible for all shots (except 1st puppy shots) and day to day expenses for food and care.

The Co-Owner will be responsible for all vet expenses except those that relate to breeding, whelping, or nursing.

The Co-Owner will be solely responsible for all actions of the Boston Terrier while in his/her day to day care. The Boston Terrier is to be a house pet, and not to spend it’s life as an outside dog..

The Boston Terrier is never to be allowed to run at large without supervision. The Boston Terrier is to be confined to the house when in heat, except to be taken outside under strict supervision.

The Boston Terrier is to live day to day with the Co-Owner, except for times stated in this contract.

Until the female is spayed, the Co-Owner will keep the female away from all male dogs capable of breeding with her while in season.

Should the Co-Owner allow accidental breeding, he/she must terminate the breeding at his/her own expense. (The breeding will not count as the breeder’s two litters).

The Co-Owner shall not spay the Boston Terrier without the permission of the breeder. And after her 2nd litter. If this is done, without consent or before her 2nd litter the Co-Owner WILL PAY the Breeder $2,500.00 (The cost of buying the dog).

 Breeder’s Rights And Responsibilities..

The Breeder of this Boston Terrier will retain FULL breeding rights and full registered ownership of this Boston Terrier until the terms of this agreement have been fulfilled.

The Breeder shall have no more than two litters from this Boston Terrier.

The breeder will be responsible for all expenses related to breeding and whelping this Boston Terrier litter.

The Breeder will have the Boston Terrier at their home for whelping and nursing weeks. And responsible for all expenses, care of bitch and puppies during her pregnancy and whelping period.

The Breeder will split half of the pups out of each litter unless specified otherwise in writing.

After the female Boston Terrier has whelped two litters the breeder will give the Co-Owner the option to spay the female or Co-Own another litter from this female. If the Co-Owner chooses to spay the female after her second litter and after completion of breeding the Breeder will sign the dogs registration papers over to the Co-Owner and the breeder will have no more legal rights to the dog from the day of the spaying forward. (Except for the abuse and neglect clause of this contract) and the (right to know and placement clause). The decision to re-breed must be made by the Co-Owner at the time of the females next heat after the first litter.

If this contract is breeched and not abide to by the Co-Owner, Breeder has the right to terminate this contract and repossess the dog. Abuse and neglect clause- For the life of this dog, Co-Owner will not abuse or neglect the care of the Boston Terrier. At any time the Breeder believes this dog is abused or neglected, Blue Water Boston Terriers has the right to repossess the Boston Terrier. And the Co-Owner agrees to not seek any legal damages the Breeder or cause the Breeder any legal expenses.

Right To Know And Placement Clause..

For the life of the dog, the Co-Owner will let the Breeder know where the dog lives.

For the life of this dog, the Co-Owner will not re-home or give this dog away to anyone without the permission of Blue Water Boston Terriers.

For the life of the Boston Terrier, If the Co-Owner cannot keep this dog, the Co-Owner will return the dog to Blue Water Boston Terriers unless otherwise stated.
